Browns quarterback Josh McCown led the Browns back from an early 14-3 deficit on Sunday to give Cleveland a 33-30 win in overtime.
Have you come around on Josh McCown or do you want Johnny Manziel on the field?

The Browns took the field for the official start of the 2015 – 2016 NFL season. Sadly the results were the same as they’ve been for the last 11 season openers – a loss.
What do you think of the Browns first showing of the year?

The Browns have started mini-camp and the regular season is right around the corner. Do you have your Browns jersey ready for the start of the season?
Who do you think will be the Browns starting quarterback this season?

With the Major League All-Star Game last night we’re officially at the half way point of the baseball season. That said, I’ve got football on my mind and I’m already getting excited for another Browns season!
Who else has Browns on the brain? How do you think they’ll do this year?

I was showing my kids some old school Nintendo games a couple of months back and ran across Techmo Bowl. Naturally I was playing as the Browns and snagged this shot after a Kevin Mack touchdown!

I was sitting in one of my favorite Cleveland watering holes (The Winking Lizard) the other day and saw this stat flash across the television. It’s been 50 seasons since the Indians last won a title. 47 seasons for the Browns, 44 for the the Cavaliers. Will those streaks continue or will the Cavs be able to come back from a 2-3 deficit in the NBA Finals?
How long will these streaks continue? If it’s not the Cavs this season what is the best chance for Cleveland to win a title?

We’re a couple of weeks removed from the 2015 NFL Draft. How do you think the Browns did?
Here’s a list of the full draft for the Browns:

ESPN reported that the NFL has suspended Josh Gordon for yet again violating the league’s substance abuse policy. This comes on the heels of the announcement that Brown’s quarterback Johnny Manziel has entered rehab.
Sadly, it appears that the Browns are… The Browns.

Johnny Maniel is in Cleveland… at least for the time being. His NFL rookie season fizzled and his off the field antics have continued. Is his time in Cleveland short lived?
Photo credit for this one goes to Rebecca R. Markovitz from this article from Crain’s Cleveland Business – Is Johnny Manziel worth the trouble for the Browns?
My opinion… it might be time to cut ties. I don’t see a future star there.

This post has nothing to do with the weather. If you look at your current NFL standings this morning, your very own Cleveland Browns stand alone atop the AFC North. And it feels TREMENDOUS!
I’ve seen this several times today, but the first time I saw it, it was posted by Brad F on Facebook. Thank you sir!

Have you been keeping up with the party that is Johnny Manziel in Cleveland? I won’t bother going over it here… there’s about a billion website that will do a better job. I’ll just say this… Dude better be able to play.
If not, it’s going to be another long year in Cle…

Today’s photo comes from the front page of the Cleveland Plain Dealer. In case you’ve been living under a rock, the NFL Draft was last night (the first round that is) and the Browns were VERY busy. They started the night owning the #4 pick which they promptly traded to Buffalo for the #9 pick a two picks in next year’s draft. They then traded up to #8 and selected Justin Gilbert. And they were just getting started.
Johnny Manziel (known as Johnny Football) was touted by some experts as the #1 pick in the draft. He slid all the way to #22 when the Browns (after some more wheeling and dealing) snagged him. This AM’s Plain Dealer told an interesting story. Manziel, who’d slid WAY down below where many thought he would be was the headliner and Gilbert (the best corner in the draft) was a mere afterthought.
What did you think of the Browns draft? How do you think Manziel will fare in Cleveland?
Here’s a couple of… interesting… pieces I found from around the web:
– Browns Fuck Up Announcement Of Johnny Manziel Pick, Naturally
– Browns Fans Love “Cocky Asshole” Johnny Manziel
– Johnny Football Learns a Little Humility
– Twitter reacts to Cleveland Browns drafting Johnny Manziel
– Nike Football Releases Johnny Manziel Ad That Focuses on His ‘Something Else’
– Even the NFL Is Mocking Johnny Manziel’s Draft Fall
The draft continues through the weekend but I can’t imagine it will be quite as interesting or headline grabbing. Love him or hate him he’ll be a Brown this fall. And then it’s time to see if “Johnny Football” can live up to his name.

I was scrolling through my Facebook feed the other day and ran across this gem. My friend was clearing out a box of old photos in a house he’d recently moved into and found this pic of Cleveland Municipal Stadium. The Indians called Municipal Stadium their home for some 60 years and the Browns for nearly 50 years. While it wasn’t necessarily the best place to WATCH a sporting event, I’ve got some of my first (and greatest) memories from that site on the shores of Lake Erie.
This particular photo had a date of 1980 on it and looks like its held up great. I’ve got to say that this is probably my personal favorite rendition of Chief Wahoo. Got a story of Municipal Stadium you’d like to share? We’d love to hear it!

If there is one thing that Cleveland is synonymous with its the Cleveland Browns. No matter how good (not too often in recent years) or bad (all too often in recent years) our Browns are, the fans come to each and every game in droves. We support our team through think and thin. Through good and bad draft picks, through endless quarterback controversies and coaching changes the fans continue to file into Cleveland Browns Stadium.
This pic was snapped on the way out of this past season’s home opener. This sign always makes me smile as I love it when an organization recognizes it’s fans. It’s a small token, but for THIS fan, it goes a long way.
