Cleveland’s Pulse is a first-of-its-kind comprehensive look at life in Greater Cleveland, by the numbers. The Cleveland Foundation partnered
with Crain’s Cleveland Business to take this annual “pulse” of our community.
Saw this beautiful and rather unique Cleveland skyline picture float across my Instagram timeline recently and had to share. Props to Instagram user @ClevelandGram on such a great shot – AMAZING COLORS!!!

I saw this photo float across one of my timelines quite some time ago and I saved it on my hard drive to be posted. Photo credit to professional Cleveland photographer Mike Vielhaber who you can find on Instagram at instagram.com/mvielhaber/

Fat Head’s Brewery & Saloon opened in North Olmsted on April 7, 2009. The brewpub has a 35-seat bar and a 200-seat dining room. There are 30 rotating tap hands that serve beers from Fat Head’s as well as guest breweries.
The WWE came to town the other night for it’s weekly show Monday Night RAW. Former WWE and UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar made his return as well and was wearing a special “Suplex City – Cleveland, Ohio” shirt.
As a big wrestling fan and obviously a Cleveland fan, this one really hit my sweet spot.
The Cavs made an incredible run to the NBA Finals this past year. They posted this image to their Facebook page the night of the last game of the finals with a simple note: “Keep the faith, Cleveland.”

We absolutely will. Thanks for the amazing ride Cavs. We can’t wait for next season!
According to Crain’s Cleveland Business, “The new owner of the 925 Euclid Ave. building, best known as the former Huntington Building, plans to transform it into a mixed-use property with a high-end hotel, 550 apartments and a whopping 400,000 square feet of office space.”
I try to keep things very positive here on TCB. We all know that our beloved Cleveland Cavaliers came up short last night in the NBA Finals. They battled to the very end. Playing essentially with only 7 guys the Cavs made a run that has galvanized the city and has us excited for the future.
The Plain Dealer on its front cover chose to tell a different story.
I won’t go into this a whole lot, but this is really upsetting to me. They had a chance to embrace the city and this team and they chose to go this route. All I’ll say is this… Does it surprise anyone that no one subscribes any more?
Even on vacation, there’s no doubt who Instagram user @bfromcle is rooting for in the finals.
He posted this shot and said: “Just in case someone in Delaware was wondering where I’m from or I want to win. @gvartwork @cavs @dwntowncle #CLE #clepride #Cleveland #ALLinCLE”

It’s the last home game of the year… Cleveland trails Golden State 2-3 in the NBA Finals. Let’s Go Cavs!!!
I was sitting in one of my favorite Cleveland watering holes (The Winking Lizard) the other day and saw this stat flash across the television. It’s been 50 seasons since the Indians last won a title. 47 seasons for the Browns, 44 for the the Cavaliers. Will those streaks continue or will the Cavs be able to come back from a 2-3 deficit in the NBA Finals?
How long will these streaks continue? If it’s not the Cavs this season what is the best chance for Cleveland to win a title?
Professional photographers amaze me. They have the ability to capture their subjects in a way that’s simply breathtaking. There’s a reason we’ve got the saying, “A picture is worth a thousand words.” We’re lucky to have quite a few professional photographers that call Cleveland home.
Jason Crocker is a Cleveland-based wedding photographer that I’ve been following on Instagram and Twitter for a while now. In addition to some beautiful wedding pictures every now and again he’ll turn his camera toward the town I love.
He snagged this shot and said: “I’ve been really getting a lot of work done this week, but last night I really hit a wall and needed to go play with my camera. Cleveland is such a beautiful city. #thisiscle #cleveland #lights #clevelandgram #longexposure”

The original Quaker Steak & Lube was founded in 1974 in an abandoned gas station in Sharon, Pennsylvania as a “cook your own steak” restaurant. “The Lube” has been voted Best Wings USA and grown to over 55 locations including one right inside Quicken Loans Arena!
What are your favorite wings in Cleveland? Got a pic you want to share? Upload it here!
Nature Boy Ric Flair was in the house last night for Game 4 of the NBA Finals. As a pro wrestling fan for the past 30 years this was totally awesome for me. WOOOOOO! One question… Why is Moondog wearing underwear?

I got an email this morning from Crain’s Cleveland Eleven things to do in Northeast Ohio through June 17. Parade the Circle is a signature event of Cleveland summers for 25 years where international, national and local artists join families, schools and community groups in “a spectacular display of bright costumes, giant puppets, stilt-dancers, handmade masks, and colorful floats.”
A view from outside Quicken Loans arena on Tuesday when the Cavs took on the Warriors in Game #3 of the NBA Finals (Cleveland won 96-91 taking a 2-1 series advantage).
