It’s been pretty Cavs-centric here on the site lately (for obvious reasons) so I figured I’d switch it up a bit. Here’s a pic of an awesome life sized Kenny Lofton “baseball card” that hang in Progressive Field. Too cool!

The Indians won their 11th straight last night and are on their longest winning streak in 34 years. It’s a great time to be a Cleveland sports fan!

There was quite the uproar recently when it was announced that Sherwin-Williams would be removing the iconic LeBron James / Nike banner that hung at its global headquarters. Well fear no more Cleveland… The King is staying put. In a press release early this morning Sherwin-Williams announced that it will NOT be removing the banner.
“For 150 years, Sherwin-Williams has been proud to call Cleveland our home, and we’re committed to doing the right thing for the people of this great city,” said John Morikis, President and CEO, The Sherwin-Williams Company. “For the last year, we’ve been planning to hang a celebratory banner outside our building during the summer months. But what better way to celebrate our 150th year than with a NBA championship. As a long-time supporter of the Cavs, and the entire community, we want the energy and excitement in this city to continue.”

In addition to keeping the banner, Sherwin-Williams is donating $150,000 to the LeBron James Family Foundation.

We all know the Cavs brought home a title… but did you know that our very own Cleveland Indians are in first place! Who’s up for another parade in November?!?!?

If you know me at all you know I’m not only a huge Cleveland sports fan but I’m also a life long professional wrestling fan. Triple H (the real life COO of the WWE as well as an on-air performer) just tweeted this photo… and it’s perfect…

He had this to say: “An unprecedented comeback and a long overdue @NBA Championship… THAT is something to celebrate. Congrats @cavs!”
The champs… are… here!

The Drive. The Fumble. The Shot. The Decision.
I could go on and on but this morning I don’t have to. The Cleveland Cavaliers did something last night that had never been done. They came back from a 3-1 deficit to win the first NBA title in team history. I’m getting goosebumps just thinking about it.

I got to share it with my wife, kids, neighbors and all of Cleveland. It was a special night. The city is still buzzing this morning.
That… most certainly… is Cleveland Baby!!!
I’m not going to bother with any commentary. You already know what’s what. We’re headed back to Golden State for Game 7!!!

THAT’S CLEVELAND BABY!!!
After a couple of lackluster performances in the first two games of the NBA Finals, the Cavaliers came out firing on all cylinders in Game 3 and gave the Golden State Warriors a good ol fashion beat down. The play of the game (there were several) was an alley oop from Tristan Thompson to LeBron James that he hammered home from WAY above the rim. It was a spectacle to see.

Here it is from the reverse angle:

And one more with a cool shadow:

The series continues on Friday at 9:00 PM when the Cavs host the Warriors once again. Let’s go Cavs!!!!

The Cavs are back home in the NBA Finals (albeit down 0-2) to Golden State. Tonight they look to get back into the series with a victory on their home court. This photo was posted last year on Instagram by officialclevelandsports when they said, “The calm before the storm! Let’s be loud and proud tonight! Let’s show the world what Cleveland is really about #IBelieve #ClevelandAgainstTheWorld”

Let’s make the Q loud tonight Cleveland. The Cavs are home and ready to go on a run!

Selfies. We all take them. This guy has taken the concept of a selfie to a whole new level at Progressive Field. Not sure who it is (I ran across it on Mantadatory.com) but it’s simply brilliant.

The 2016 NFL Draft starts tomorrow and as it sits now the Browns will have the 8th overall pick (after trading the #2 pick to the Eagles last week). Browns fans everywhere have one thing on their mind…

Will the Browns stay at #8? Will they trade up? Trade down? We’ll find out tomorrow.

The Cavaliers completed a first round sweep of the Detroit Pistons last night winning their opening round series 4-0. Kyrie Irving and LeBron James combined to average more than 50 points per game in the series. The Cavs now rest waiting for the winner of the Celtics and Hawks series which is knotted at two games a piece.

Do you think the Cavs are ready to make another run to the NBA Finals?
That’s Cleveland Baby!!!
It’s almost time for the NBA Playoffs once again and the Cavs have secured the #1 spot in the East. Last year, Instagram user jennifersteer had this to say when she snapped this shot: “A sea of wine. #AllinCLE #NBAFinals #Cleveland”

How do you think the Cavaliers will do in this year’s post season? Do they have what it takes to bring a title to C-town?
