Believe It Cleveland… It Happened

I’m not going to go into it now because if I’m being honest I’m still processing everything that has happened. I’ve gone through a variety of emotions and I’m not quite sure I’ve landed on one yet and the reality it is will most likely be a combination of multiple emotions when all is said and done. That said the title of this post was chosen very much by design. Believe it Cleveland. LeBron is gone. But also believe that he was here and when he was here he got us our championship. Nothing can ever tarnish that.

ProudDad72 Captures Cleveland

Frank Cramer from ProudDad72 Photography shared this photo back in July of 2016 after the Republican National Convention wrapped up. He had this to say: “This picture was taken around midnight last night. Thursday late night/Friday early morning. I’m so glad Cleveland stayed Awesome for the RNC convention. To all those who thought our city would be crazy and/or destroyed. Cleveland is still shining nice tonight. I was down there every night, what a really cool and different experience #RNC #CLEVELANDRNC #CLEVE”

Two Years Ago Today – Cleveland… This is For You!

Two years ago today, this happened. For years Clevelanders had been dealing with things like The Drive. The Fumble. The Shot. The Decision. Then on that fateful Father’s Day evening, LeBron James and crew did the impossible. They brought a championship back to Cleveland. It still doesn’t seem real and even though we’ve not fared nearly as well against the Warriors the last two years, nothing will ever tarnish that night.

I got to share it with my wife, kids, neighbors and all of Cleveland. It was a special night that will never be undone.

That’s, most certainly, Cleveland Baby.

Throwback to the Horseshoe

Today’s post takes us back to the Horseshoe Casino (currently known as Jack Casino Cleveland). It is located in the former Higbee Building at Tower City Center in downtown Cleveland and has 100,000 sq ft of gaming space. It is open 24 hours a day and is completely smoke-free and has partnered with nearly a dozen downtown Cleveland restaurants.

Bad Start to the Conference Finals

The Cavs got their doors blown off in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Boston Celtics last night. Here’s hoping Game 2 on Tuesday leads to a better result.

It’s Snowing In Cleveland!!!

I’m not quite sure WHY this is news. After all, we live in northeast Ohio and it’s March. If you’ve lived here for more than six months this shouldn’t come as a shock. It’s winter. It snows.

As they say, if you don’t like the weather in Cleveland, just wait two days and it’ll be totally different.
